Mundy’s an Emcee/Producer from Stamford, CT currently living in Troy, NY. He began his passion for music in middle school with the Saxophone. Then in his late teens writing and production came into the forefront. He practiced his craft for a couple years in the shadows then in 2020 he dropped his first album “Sundays” which was quickly followed up by “The Water Carrier” later that year.
Mundy uses music as a tool to express himself and also process his life as well as the life around him. With both his production and lyrics he keeps it authentic. The production is heavily inspired by the “Golden Age” of hip hop but also includes many qualities of the modern day sound. Sometimes it will be a sample looped for 2 minutes, or sometimes it will be hard hitting drums, complex sample chops with a chorus and 2 verses but regardless it's a sound true to him.
Since the release of his first two albums in 2020 he has dropped 10 albums and 2 EP’s. 2 albums and 1 EP were collaborations with Lu Buoy and one album was a collaboration with Shiloh The Messenger. His most recent release “Things I’ve Heard”, which dropped September 14, 2025, marked a point in Mundy’s artistry where he took all the lessons and tools he has learned and put that into one album.
